Dr. Hirani has being very instrumental in our child’s recovery/healing from Autism since the age of 3. She has been our family doctor for 10 years. In all the years we have known her she has demonstrated to be an expert in her field, professional, caring and foremost on a ”mission to heal sick children”. She always offered us hope that one day our child could be healed while other mainstream doctors offered us no hope.. This is a child that was mute at the age of 2 years. He also suffered from a severe speech impediment, gastrointestinal problems, malabsorption, heavy metal toxicity, sensory issues, gait, and coordination
We have consulted with other D.A.N. Dr’s and Dr. Hirani surpasses them all in her dedication, expertise and “intrinsic desire to heal children on the Autism Spectrum”. At one time, we inquired about another well renowned D.A.N. Dr. in Orange County but we could not afford the initial consultation being that it was $900.00. On the other hand, Dr. Hirani’s initial consultation is $400.00. That is a $500.00 in savings. If one finds Dr. Hirani too expensive you could shop around and you will realize that expertise in Autism is extremely costly. In your quest, you may find other less expensive D.A.N. Dr’s with less expertise and no track record. At least with Dr. Hirani you are paying for expertise and a track record of recovering “children with Autism”. That is one of the reasons that we chose her. While watching television we stumbled upon Dr. Hirani. She and the child’s mother discussed how her ”child recovered from Autism”. It was so inspirational for us to watch it that it cemented our “belief that recovery was possible”. We contacted her office but there was a 6 month waiting list so we waited and then had our initial consultation.
In our opinion, many parents of children on the Autism Spectrum know that it is a high out of pocket expense to “heal their child” . Alternative Medicine treatments for Autism are extremely expensive but the alternative to see your child incapacitated for the rest of their life is unbearable so we endured and persevered throughout the years. We have being paying for our “child’s medical expenses for many years. Even though we have had excellent medical insurance we have never being reimbursed by our insurance companies throughout the years. You see his illness took an unimaginable toll on us financially and emotionally and quite frankly we we’re battling with Regional Center, School District and we had no more emotional energy to battle it with the medical insurance companies.
At times some parents blame D.A.N. Dr’s for not recovering their child from Autism and they want immediate results. Recovery takes patience, perseverance, dedication and a great commitment and but last but not least time. Even parents who can afford the alternative treatments for their “sick child” don’t have the time or the desire to implement a strict diet for their child.
Regarding the staff, we know that there have been changes throughout the years but one thing has remained the same “Dr. Hirani’s mission to heal children”. There have been excellent and caring nurses at her office. Al and the staff continue to be very professional, polite and efficient in returning all of our emails in a timely manner, emailing/mailing lab tests results and address any concerns we might have. The current staff is caring, competent and dedicated to their work.
We highly recommend Dr. Hirani to all parents who want to heal their child. The “road to recovery from Autism ” can be daunting but it is so much “attainable and within reach” when you have a “beacon of light” guiding you along the way. Dr. Hirani has been that “beacon of light” in our lives throughout the years. Our child is in a mainstream top performing private school and on of the most high achieving student in his classroom. We continue to entrust our child’s health and our health to Dr. Hirani with amazing results. We are forever grateful and blessed to have found her.
